Using the corneal tunnel prevents from introducing the cartridge tip into the anterior chamber.
Result:
Consistent 1.8mm incision as measured after injection of the Akreos MI60 lens.(1)
Linear injection
To minimise corneal stress, the internal cartridge diameter must fit the incision size.
